Net goal

When you work out, you are suppose to eat back your calories from it. So do I need to get as close to 1200 on my Net goal each day as possible? Right? I am struggling with that because of going over on sugars and carbs. I am trying to play around with it a bit. I adjusted my weight loss goal per week and it lowered my daily caloric goal...JUST as I got my other caloric goal down pat! Figures. Anyhow, do you all reach or get close to 1200 Net calories per day or no?
