185lb & stuck...what can I do?

I've been using MFP on and off for a few years now. My husband and I have decided its time to start a family, and so I've been really pushing myself to get into shape before I get pregnant. I started working out Jan 17, to train for the Chicago Shamrock Shuffle 8K...and have worked out 4-5 days/wk for the past 6 weeks. I mostly do cardio, using 3 miles on the treadmill (interval training) or 50 min on the elliptical trainer. I've recently started counting calories again, plugging in EVERY. SINGLE. FOOD. into the app. I've noticed a difference in my endurance...but I haven't seen ANY weight loss!! What is my problem?? I've already been diagnosed with a thyroid problem, and take medication for that, but that's all. Any suggestions? HELP!!!

Do you know if your thyroid is under control? Also, what do you have your net calories set at? I've found that MFP can set your calorie count a little low. Maybe your not eating enough to fuel your workouts. Try looking at the webside www.freedieting.com. They have a good calorie calculator.

I think the calories on MFP may be set low too. I usually burn 600-1000 calories per workout, but it only gives me 1200/day to lose 2 lbs a week. Also, my thyroid was just recently checked, and the specialist that I go to says everything looks good for that...Just looking for new ideas...

Do you eat back your exercise calories? If not, that is a dangerously low amount of fuel (net of 200-600) and an unhealthy deficit. In my opinion.
