Hello Everyone,
I’m looking for friends that are just starting their weight loss journey so we can motivate and inspire each other and for people that have had success as a reminder that it can be done. I’m 29 years old and am a huge social butterfly that loves to spend time with my friends and family. In high school I used to be very thin and active over the past 10 years I have put on a lil over 100 pounds, through various ups and downs. I have spent the last two years working on myself on the inside and am ready to conqueror the outside to be the best person that I can be. I spent most of my 20s over weight and am ready to be physical fit and healthy in my 30s. My birthday isn’t until December so please join me in this wonderful journey! I’m really excited and energized and know this is the next step for me. With my new MFP friends and God on my side I know I can do it!!

Pretty similar story for me, I was super active in high school and at my smallest size from doing every extra-c activity available. then college and working life happened, and here I am 10 years and about +80 lbs later.
I topped out at about 260 two years ago, and was also diagnosed then with diabetes. Since then I've been trying to work the weight off so I can get off meds, but just really started getting serious in the past few months. I'm just under 230 now, struggling to break into the 220's. Slowly but surely!0 -
