My gym uses a program to track your time spent in the gym, and every month they display the top 50 men and women in both weight lifted and cardio minutes.

I made the board!!! I am number 36 out of ALL the women at my gym for cardio time from January. I noticed by accident, because I never thought that I, a "gym hater," could be a successful person there. I never really looked before. Now it's a bit more motivation! I want to stay on the list! :)

    Nice job!!! Mine seemed to track number of visits for new comers, but they didn't track any more than showing up (electronic card swipe). It would be fun to see some cardio contests!

    We have a pin system. Each machine at the gym has a login, so it tracks exactly how much weight you lifted or how long you stayed on cardio machines. It is really cool, and satisfying to see just what you accomplished on a given day, week or month. There is an online component and I can access and chart all my data!

    And now today I'm down 19.6 pounds! :D

    My ticker says 20, though, which makes me super excited. Yeah, it rounds up, but I'm gonna ENJOY it!

    I didn't even think about posting this kind of NSV but I made my gym's "leaderboard" for "most weight lifted in 30 days" for last month - I'm number 3 out of 5 in the men category! Go us!

    My local YMCA! I don't know if all of the Y's have this, but the program is called "FitLinxx" so maybe you could look it up and see if gyms near you offer it?
