There are two website that I know of where you can subscribe and get daily emails with a list of free Kindle and Nook books. There are often cookbooks on the list. Today I got one called "Healing Desserts"--here's the url for that one--not sure how long it will be free.

The two sites are:
http://www.pixelofink.com/
http://ereadernewstoday.com/
When you click on a Kindle book from their email it takes you to the Amazon page, not sure about Nook. I've seen cookbooks listed for paleo, vegetarian and other specialty cooking. Just thought I would share. We hardly ever pay for Kindle books anymore.

Not true. These site list books free for everyone. I don't have Prime but use Pixel of Ink daily. I've downloaded tons of free books and cookbooks.
Oops, you are right. The book in the first post isn't free anymore. I didn't realize there was a link to a book in the op. Sorry!0 -

Holy cow, good one! I know it's not really diet-friendly, but I can't resist the "Amazing Cheesecakes" one. There's birthdays, right?0

I noticed they aren't all that healthy but some can be revised with substitutions. I downloaded my kindle cookbooks on my iPad so they would be in color.0 -
I went to Amazon, looked under Kindle Books for cookbooks, set it to Price low to high, and found lots of lovely historical type cookbooks. I love these and could just read them as much as histories as use them for cooking.0
