I recently made a cookie dough dip recipe with chickpeas. I NEVER would have thought it would be as awesome as it was. Even my kids were eating it off of the mixers like it was real cookie dough. They never would've known if their father hadn't told them! So I'll definitely be trying this. Thank you!0

This recipe is awesome! I have garbanzo bean flour I've been meaning to use for something. (been gluten free for 6 months) might try that instead of the canned chickpeas and just add a little water. Thanks for posting!0

I tried to make her chickpea cookie truffles once. The result wasn't too appetising, although I really must've screwed up somewhere! -
I might give these a try if I can forget the taste of my last attempt
O.o well THAT ruined my appetite XD0 -

Made the Genius Blondies tonight (and didnt tell the the family all the ingredients) . .
They LOVED em! Pretty moist, maybe I'll cook a littel longer next time but so Yummy!
(Even the 11 yr old loved em)
With my substitutions of splenda brown sugar blend(for reg brown sugar) and oatmeal(for the flax),
The MFP recipe calculator came up with 110cal per treat (15 bars per pan), plus some bonus protein!
Yeah, I'll be visiting her website regularly!0 -
try using bananas instead of Splenda (otherwise known as POISON).
explain?
Splenda is sucralose. If you want to find out more - http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_consumer/the_truth_about_sucralose;jsessionid=647907A907602A590F5F51FB0A9D0D21-mcd01.hydra
I don't know the guy's credentials who wrote the article - but I think he's done an ok job ...

Made these today for my office's pot luck tomorrow...OMG when I licked my finger (naughty) after putting dish in the oven I knew that the first batch would not be enough for my work crowd!! Immediately started mixing up second batch.
the only modifications I made to original recipe was not only using the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips I added 1/4 cup peanut butter chips. Also used quick oats instead of ground flax.
I just had one while putting the other batch in the oven........so so so so so good!! they will never know there are chick peas in there unless I tell them.
I used a 9x9 glass dish and got 16 bars.0 -
Bump to try later.0
