  • No I set mine higher to only lose .5 lbs a week. If its too low I feel like I don't do as well. If I have more wiggle room than I tend to do better. Its all in my head though.

I went with what it set and stuck to if for about a month and then tinkered based on how I feel.

For about 2 weeks I was only using the app and I just went by what was set. I came on here a couple of days ago and found I could change my goals a little more than I could on the app. Changed it abit.

I've lowered my fat and carb intake goal and increased my protein intake a bit. I tend to go over my protein quite often and if I keep my goals at a certain number I will generally keep close to the goal on a daily basis. I found that before I changed them I was reaching my goals, so lowering everything should help change my eating habits a bit to suit my new carb, fat and protein goals.

The only thing I don't go with is the calories.. I set mine to 1000, because if I go over that, i don't feel bad.... Also, before I actually even started using MFP, I started to count my calories just to see how much I was eating.. I don't actually eat that much.. I just eat really unhealthy things!
