Greetings,
My name is Paul. I'm 42, and today I weigh around 215. I'm getting ready to start training for my fourth marathon race in August. In all my previous years, I've been classified as a "Clydesdale" -- which is runners' lingo for anyone over 200lbs. And while it's been kind of cool to associate myself with this strong and steady breed of runner – and to connect with other heavy runners like myself – this year I've decided to turn the page. But I don't plan on stopping when I get below 200. I'd like to get down to a light and healthy weight that will help me get the most out of life. Anyway, this is just my third day on this program and I'm loving all the simple tools and progress reports. I'd love to help support anyone else who is looking to shed these pesky pounds. Any other runners out there?
