Hi. I'm new to MFP, but I started my lifestyle change on January 1st of this year. I have struggled all my life with my weight. I have always been the fat friend or the fat sister, and I decided that it's time for a serious lifestyle change. When I initially started my diet, I cut my calories (and tracked them) and began going to the gym 4-6 times per week. My starting weight was 290, and at my last weigh in (I weigh on Sundays), I was at 259.8. My goal is to finally be in the healthy range for my weight, so I'm aiming for 170. I'm hoping that joining this site will help me keep my motivation up and help me push through the hard times! Feel free to add me!
