Hello, I am patiently waiting for my Trutein Cinnabun to arrive...I was thinking of drinking it for breakfast but I usually don't workout until after work in the evening. Is this okay to do? I know a lot of people like to drink it before or after working out. I am not sure I will have enough calories left to drink it at the end of the day after my workout. My workouts usually consist of circuit traning like 30DS, power walking, body pump, sometimes various cardio at the gym.

I use the EAS Prot shakes. I always drink one before I work out in the morning (or before the surgery happened I did). I try to have one or two a day. Sometimes substitute them for a meal. But I am always game for it before a workout0

If you're doing cardio in the mornings, just do it on an empty stomach. Because your bloodsugar is low you'll burn 2x more fat. Having one after (perhaps with fish oil) is good. This is only a good plan if you're doing only cardio. For weight lifting maybe before and after. Also, too much protein from a supplement is a BAD idea longterm. Limit it to just 25%-30% of your total protein.0
