I always find that I either put on a pound or so or stay the same weight, but then the following week I'll loose pretty much double. Its just water retention, which goes, and its always encouraging seeing a nice number on the scales the week after ! xx0

I'm often several pounds heavier during that week. I've also know other women to be 2-10 pounds heavier!0

For ME (things are different for every woman) I either maintain or gain the week leading up to that time, then lose it once that time comes.0

okay awesome thank you just dont wanna be discouraged if i see the number go up !0

I stay away from the scale during shark week because my weight does go up.0

Weight goes up week before 2-4 pounds and also swell up with water. Day after I start it goes right back down!0

I've seen it go up five pounds. That's probably more than normal though. Don't be discouraged; water weight means nothing! Skip a weigh in if it makes you feel better.0

I usually gain around 5 pounds during that time, but it comes right back off after. Just don't ge upset about it, thats normal. Its not a real weight gain.

I weigh 5-8lb more in the few days before, and then it just magically disappears after. I just don't weigh myself around that time anymore0

Shark week, lol, love it:)0 -
I don't weigh myself every week- I find it only hinders my motivation if I do, and weighing every other week is like waiting for Christmas
I also exercise a lot more on my period, but that's to battle the horrific menstrual cramps.0
