    I used to be a dog groomer so I've heard all kinds of names. One that I've always really liked for a girl dog is :

    My neighbors downstairs have two boy pugs named: Max and Sam

    I have two female pomerianians and their names are: Lucy and Neisha

    Other dog names: Pee Wee, rascal, Buster or Mimi

    when i think of pugs i think of 50's and 60's.....Eta, Stella, Fiona, Betty, Dolores, Dottie, Gertrude, Marium, Frannie(girl names)......George, Edward, Thomas, Francis, Henry, Emanuel, Raymond(boy names)

    Pugs need cute names...like Pugster or Bean....

    On the other hand, giving him a big tough name like Bruno, Butch or Mack would be cool too.

    Lola, because then you can sing to her that Barry Manilow song that starts, "Her name was Lola, She was a Showgirl..." and the Kinks song.
    Plus, it's a cute name for a pug. :-)

    we had a male pug named rosko but if we got the female we were goin to name her rosey. Now we have a shiz tzu and our 3yr old named him zuzu.
