Weight loss factors

I started MFP in Feb. and at that time I made 3 drastic changes; 1. using MFP to focus on my caloric intake, 2. Rigorous schedule of exercise ( running 4miles 3 days a week with 30 min weight training on opposite days with 1 day rest), 3. Gave up drinking alcohol. I have lost 8lbs in that month.

What factor do you give most importance to your weight loss?

    Logging all my food means paying attention to how often I was getting fast food, drinking soda, having a snack of a few hundred calories. It is pretty easy to curb when I'm logging it, and really easy to ignore when I wasn't.
