My name is Darrin from New Zealand.

I joined this community to share my knowledge and experience with the push-up exercise.

I am an amateur website designer and developer (I built push up king) and most passionate about push-ups as a life long alternative for benchpressing. I would like to share my knowledge and experiences of performing high set and high rep push-ups.

My push-up stats Age 36yrs.
Push-up weight: 160Lb's 70kg's (80% weighed on body scales)
One minute max: 90
Most push-ups till failure: 130
Most sets: 50 x 20 reps = 1000 push-ups

I hope to help or support other's that take on push-ups as an exercise.

Wow, I'm impressed! I abhor pushups! I'm not even sure I can do one real one. Of course I can if I go from the knees, but even then I get tired easily.

So, do you not do any other exercises?
  • I exercise with push-ups to maintain my body and that allows me to do things easily. Most people hate push-ups due to not knowing how much weight is actually being pushed up. If you know how much weight you are actually pushing up by using body scales in the diamond push-up position. You will realize your benchpress equivalent weight..
