HRM Chest straps

Really strange question but does anyone have a HRM that has a chest strap? If so are they elastic straps or fabric? I don't want to buy one to find out the strap doesn't fit! I have a 52" chest and don't want it to snap or even worse not fit at all and waste my money.

    I have a Polar HRM and the Wearlink chest strap is elastic and adjustable. Although a standard size comes with the unit, you can buy chest straps for it up to XXXL. I find it to be very comfortable.
