Hi all! I am 32 years old, 5'8 and 167, looking to get down to 157 (maybe less we'll see). I found I am focusing more lately on toning than lbs lost because I am so close to being a healthy weight and the inches are flying off while the lbs are slowly following.

I am looking for some friends to keep me motivated and maybe give me new ideas for fitness through their own experiences. I am most interested in low impact exercises because I have RA and am unable to do some things...like run. I do however love to bike, hike, walk, and have tried some kickboxing as well. Currently I'm doing 30DS (just started) and incorporating cardio with that as well.

Please add me if you think we might be able to motivate each other!

  • Hi!
I'm 25, 5"9, weighting 172 and wanting to weight about 155. That's the weight my doctor told me I should aim to if I want to be perfectly healthy. I try to go to the gym with my sister about twice a week and do another cardio activity during the week. I'm precisely in your situation : I'm so close to being on my health weight, but I'm not quite there yet. I want to tone up and loose that layer of fat over the muscles... My sister is nearly there already, but she's been working very hard to. I don't want to be extreme in what I do. I want to reach my goal in a gradual and healthy way. If you want, we can encourage each other, because I understand your situation perfectly!
Btw, I'm French Canadian, so please don't be offended by my spelling mistakes... ;-)
    Cheers!
