If you have tried P90X2, what do you think of it? How does it compare to P90X? Thanks!

I am currently in Phase 2 of X2, and I am really liking it. After losing 30 lbs, and around 12 % bodyfat with P90X, I was looking forward to a change of pace. P90X2 was designed with athletic performance in mind, where P90X was more of "get in the best shape of your life" type program. P90X2 brings the same from P90X, resistance, plyo, cardio, and yoga, and also introduced P.A.P short for Post-Activation Potentiation, Longs story short the P.A.P theory is that MORE muscle cells are recruited to work after being activated after a strength exercise, which then improve explosive power and performance in actions like sprints, lateral movement and jumping. Obviously, compounded over time, the idea is you’re going to train better which translates into better performance and most important injury resistance.
I think this program is more geared to actual performance rather than how you look, although, physical transformation is going to be a given.0 -
