I will be in Boston for business for a few days in a couple of weeks staying in the Quincy Market area and wondered if anyone from there had any suggestions for places with healthy eating options.

First avoid the overpriced tourist traps like legal seafoods and... Well anyplace in faneuil hall.
For pizza go to santarpios in east Boston (take a cab) or anchovies on columbus ave in the south end. A bit of a walk but worth it.
No as in the north end has the best Sicilian but not an eat in restaurant. Also for pastry get it from Bova. Avoid mikes pastry or modern pastry. Both overpriced tourist traps with wicked long lines. Oh and subpar pastry.
For a nice Italian dinner hit cafe fiore. Great wine owners servers and food. Strega is good in a goodfellas kind of way but it's overpriced. Give me a min and I'll get u more. Typing on this damn iPhone it driving me nuts.

Mike's pastry is definitely a place I'm planning to avoid. I've been there a couple of times before and it was very addicting. Plus I'm a diabetic so I need to be careful with sweets.
