Okay so to cut a long story short, I have suffered with anorexia for almost fourteen years now. I've had periods of recovery but always relapsed. People believe anorexics to not eat, or not eat alot, but it's completely not true for all anorexics. I used to eat 1,400 calories in fruit and vegetables, mostly in apples, I was always still severely underweight though. I didn't exercise, I still didn't have the energy for it.
My question is I have been in proper recovery again since last august and I'm still working on introducing my body to foods that aren't all fruit and vegetables, etc, chocolate, and I'm only walking 30-60 minutes per day. At the moment I'm eating 1,000 calories most days just because I feel really full, but I'm feeling faint most of the day, why is this?
I never experienced this throughout my eating disorder, so I'm a bit confused as to why it's happening now.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

Just from a quick look at your diary, it seems that a) your net calories for the day are often WAAAAY under any sort of happy zone for a body, particularly one that is now getting some exercise (go you for getting that in though!) Also, b) it doesn't seem that the "quality" of the food is too great to be fuelling a recovering body - I see lots of things that will contain sugar substitues which will cause sugar highs - and therefore lows - which could account for the faint feeling. If you can, try getting some nuts and seeds into you, you should find that you'll be ok with them, just introduce small amounts at a time. If you can, maybe add something a bit more nutritious onto your baguettes, maybe a spoonful of tuna?

Looking at your diary, I would say you need to up your protein in a big way.

Super grats on focusing on fruits and veggies, but you need some lean protein in there as well Are you a vegetarian? Do you have any allergies? You could try incorporating some grilled chicken or fish (both good sources of protein) into your diet. You could try protein shakes/powders too.

I bet if you could get up to your daily protein goal for a couple of days you'll feel much better. :)

I agree with the previous posters ^

also, it's possible you could be low in certain vitamin levels. If possible, you should go and have some tests/blood work done. That way a doctor can tell you if you need supplements

if you've been mostly eating fruits and veggies (which I must applaud you greatly because I've been a meat and potatoes girl forever) you could be suffering from iron defieceny anemia from not eating enough meat with iron in it

low levels of vitamin B could also cause you to feel tired all the time
