Homemade Energy Gels

I am new to the whole energy gel thing but I made a really easy and effective one.

I took 2 TBS of chia seeds and soaked them in some water. They turn into a gel substance. Then I added 3 TBS of agave to it and mixed it with some water. It was the perfect energy boost!

I really saw a difference using this stuff on my 10 mile run last weekend. I drank a portion every 2-3 miles.

Are there other gels that anyone has made? I would love some more ideas if you have them!
