Okay. So I am getting into weight lifting. I have gone from 1200, 1500 to now 1844 with my calories. The problem I have is on days I workout I am burning, on a great day, 1000+ or 2000 calories. So the question is....is it really posiible to eat 1844+ to NET at least 1200?. I mean before I was only eating 1200 period when I started. This is a learning process and I realized that its not a great idea when I want to build muscle. I am reading The New Rules of Lifting for Women. So should I try to eat all these dag on calories on workout days or should I lower my burns? I don't want to lose muscle with the fat.

If you don't want to lose muscle, you really do need to be eating those calories. Your body doesn't eat away at fat stores when it isn't being nourished, it goes for muscle.0
