Kids while in school??

I am 26 years old and just started my law school degree.
I want to have kids before I am 30, medical issues....
My boyfriend seems to want to wait and say it's going to be too hard while I am still in school.
I was wondering who had kids while in school??

I did. It wasn't easy, but I have the most awesomest wife ever.
You have to do things a little different from other students, but it's doable. For example, I would get up at like 6am on the weekends to study, so we could have some family time later in the day.0 -
I got pregnant my senior year of college---fortunately I graduated before I was due.
But my mom is like the master of multi-tasking. She worked 2 jobs all through under-grad, and then when I was a kid she worked full time AND went to graduate school at Johns Hopkins University AND was pregnant with my sister during her last year of grad school. She literally delivered my sister, then took exams like 2 months later and graduated her masters program.
She made it to all my dance recitals and school events and everything. How, I literally have no idea. But she made it happen. It can be done, but I have to think it was a LOT of work on her and my dad's part to make sure that I was taken care of and happy.0 -
I was pregnant for my first semester of grad school. Walking around campus while pregnant sucks. I was breast feeding and had an infant for the second semester. Pumping sucks as does trying to study and concentrate when you are getting little sleep. But it's possible.
And there's nothing wrong with having children after 30. People do it all the time.0 -

Yep! My mom was 30 when she had me and 37 when she had my sister, and we have a really close relationship.0 -
I'm actually in school now with an 18 month-old, and it's manageable, but I also took the first year off from work and school to be with her. I can't imagine trying to have done that while she was a newborn or even a few months old, because it would have been pretty darn rough, especially since we breastfed exclusively in the beginning. It's doable, and you can pump and all that jazz, but you have to be really dedicated, and totally willing to never ever sleep. Ever.0

While I was getting my masters I was on the verge of a panic attack at all times - I would have completely lost my **** if I had kids. That probably says more about me than anything though! Ha! Good luck whatever you do.0

The day before I was to start back to college after a seven year break, my wife told me she was pregnant. It gave me incentive to work as hard as I could to get finished and get a better job. It was tough for both of her, but especially for her since I went to school at night. We made it work though. At that point in my life, I got very little sleep and could stay up late studying so that it would not interfere with family time.0
