260 days on MFP, 29lbs gone with pics

260 days ago I joined MFP. I think I have lost about 25lbs since joining and about 4 lbs before that. I was going to wait until thirty, but I needed photo proof of my weight loss and thought I would share while I was at it.
My short story: I was slowing gaining weight in 2010 and 2011. In 2011, there was a terrible loss in my family and I ate to comfort myself.
I got just slightly above 200 pounds. I was fed up and looking for a better calorie counter, as I had tried this method before with other websites and had had success, but didn't like the format very much. I found MFP, began counting and losing.
My clothes starting fitting better and I felt better about the way I looked. The only problem was, I didn't feel awesome. I was still tired and honestly, my gut didn't feel great. I started eating a grain free diet after listening to podcasts and doing some research, and I almost instantly had a boost in energy, felt better, and saw some quick weight loss.
With some slip up during the holidays, I have been doing a grain free, clean (most of the time) diet and feel so much better and I see the results. I have gone from a size 14 to an 8. I have a little bit more weight to lose, but I'm happy with where I am!!

Same clothes in both pics and sorry for the dirty mirrors!!

Great job! I can definitely see your progress. The grain-free diet works for me, too. Thanks for sharing!0

Thanks! I wasn't sure if there was a big difference until I put the pictures next to each other. My shape is changing for the better0
