Anyone experience Adrenal Fatigue?

My doctor just diagnosed me with Adrenal Fatigue. Many doctors don't accept this as a medical condition, but after consistent fatigue, hairloss, and weight gain I knew something was wrong. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to successfully lose weight through recovery? My motivation is depleted and I could use any information and support you may have!

I suggest seeking the advice of a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. They will be able to address your concerns, while supporting and nourishing your adrenals.
In the meantime, you may want to scale back the intensity of your work-outs, while maintaining an active lifestyle. And remember to eat really well. Cut down on processed foods and increase your fruit & vegetable intake.
Don't let yourself get too discouraged, we demand a lot of our bodies and sometimes it becomes overwhelming, both physically and emotionally.
Take care,

I TOTALLY agree with Meryl. When I had adrenal fatigue it was a naturopath that diagonsed me.
The reason I suggest seeing one is that she put me on VERY high doses of certain vitamins, MUCH MUCH higher than than is ever recommended. A doctor won't do this, they usually treat conditions with drugs and you need herbs & vitamins.
Watch your exercise too because although exercise can give you energy, it can make you tired if you don't have a lot of energy to begin with. I suggest yoga too because it will help you deal with stress that you may have as you get this under control. By that I mean I know how you can get bummed out if your psyched to do a lot of exercise and then you have this huge wrench thrown in there that might make that difficult.
Also a naturopath can do a simple test of shining a light in you eye and can tell the degree to which you have adrenal fatigue, this way they can check each visit if you're improving & by how much.0
