World's Greatest Shave 2012 - Shameless Plug for a GREAT CAU

It is a humbling statistic, but today 31 Australians will get the news they have a form of blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders. The news sends their life into turmoil as well as their families. Thankfully the non-profit Leukaemia Foundation help these victims through programs that fund:

- Important research into blood cancers and disorders for the betterment of the global sufferers of the disease.
- Support for the Australian victims of these insidious conditions and their families.

The Leukaemia Foundation receive no ongoing governmental support in providing these services and rely on fundraising activities. Chief amongst them is the World’s Greatest Shave.

I have decided to participate in this years edition and have set a target of $500.00. If I raise over that amount (even by 1 cent) my head hair, shoulder hair, and chest hair will be shaved. Currently I am up to $248.60 and with a fortnight to go I am hopeful that I can get to the target.
