Insanity Questions

I am thinking about doing Insanity Challenge, but I don't know if it is a wise idea or not to do my normal workout WITH Insanity. What are your thoughts about this? Oh! And Wall pushups instead of actually pushups. I can't do a "girl" push up to save my life, let alone a proper push up. If I do wall push ups instead of proper ones - will that suffice?

If you have ever done Insanity, please feel free to add anything I should know!

My husband and I did Insanity last year and it's a 6-day a week workout, so if you want to add it to your workout, that probably won't work (unless you don't work at regular job and can workout 2 hours a day!) The first set of DVD's, most of the workouts are around 40 minutes. Then the 2nd set of DVD's most of the workouts are 1 hour. There are a lot of pushups. It was a blend between cardio, plyometrics and interval training, so that was good - I didn't get bored. But if you want to "do it right" and follow it, it takes a major commitment. But it will work, just like anything else, if you follow it to a "t".

I lost a few pounds and my husband lost about 20 pounds (most which was gained back within the past year! We just got back on the "wagon" again a few weeks ago, doing TaeBo and working out at the gym)

    Hope that helped!
