Minus Calories

Hi everyone,

I want to introduce a return to maintenance calorie levels, every 4th day as I'm beginning the BFFM programme. In order to show compliance with my daily targets, I think I need a negative calorie food item to add to my daily log. If I don't take some kind of action, my log will show me as over eating on those 4th days.

I know there are breast feeding options, but just wondered if there are any other preset negative calorie entries in the database. I've tried to setup a new database item, but it won't recognise the minus calorie figure, and just sets the item at 0 calories.

If there are any any other options for doing what I'm describing, or if anyone else is doing BFFM with a zig zag, I'd appreciate any help or advice. I'm about 5 weeks into MFP, and I want to try and keep things moving.

Thanks

Mark

I don't truly understand what you are doing, but you could add a personal exercise item which would adjust your cals. Just call it "calorie adjustment" or similar.

If there were a negative calorie food, we'd all be eating it, I can assure you! The famed "hardboiled eggs * take more calories to digest then they give you" theory has been disproved long ago.

    * Substitute your favourite "dieter's friend" here - grapefruit, celery, magic berries .... they all add calories - some foods add very little and help fill you up, but I'm afrid there is no negative calorie food. If only.... *sigh*

two option: set up excercise that says calories adjustment - that one will affect macros
or quick add, it will allow you adding negative cals, but will not affect macros
