Hello everyone. I'm currently on the Power 90 program and I have about 2 weeks left to wrap it up and move onto P90X. It has been an awesome journey so far. I started back in 19 Dec 2011. I weighed in at 216 lbs. Now I'm at the end of Week 11. My current weight is 177 lbs. I've been bringing it everyday with no relapse. It's been nothing but good nutrition and working out according to the program. I am now convinced that this program is very effective. Even though it was the very first BeachBody program that came out. It doesn't mean that you can't get great results! It's a very good workout to start off with if you're out of shape. P90X here I come!!! I wish everyone plenty of success during their journey to great health. Take care.

I just started P90X. I am on day 3. However, I am calorie counting with MFP and not the doing the diet that comes with P90. How hard is the P90 diet and did you use that specific diet to get your results?0

Hi Tracy! Congrats on starting P90X! I didn't exactly follow the P90 nutrition guide. I'm currently doing a 50/30/20 protein/carbs/fat ratio on my nutrition. I'll follow the suggested amount of calories that myfitnesspal gives me for 1 1/2 lbs weight loss a week then I'll customize my ratios. The important thing is that I do eat my calories back. For example, if it suggests that I eat 1350 cals and I burn 350 cals. I'll eat it back to make sure I'm not going way below my calorie deficit. I'm also taking Shakeology which has been a huge success in my progress and energy levels. When I do start P90X, I'll start of with the 50/30/20 ratio then probably move onto a 40/40/20 during the program. If you stick to these ratios, you'll see the weight drop before you know it!!0 -
I am now on Week 12 Day 3. I just realized that I have about 12 lbs til my goal weight. Time is my only enemy. Throughout this journey I've learned that there are no shortcuts when you're doing it the proper way. I can't wait til next week comes around. P90 will be completed and I'll be moving onto other challenges. If you're planning on starting P90X around 26 March. Bring your "A" game and join me on here. We'll keep each other accountable!0
