30 Day Shred is a great place to start. You'll need 3-5lb dumbbells to start. The workout has 3 levels, 20 minutes each, and combine strength training with cardio and abs.

30 Day Shred is awesome. Right now I'm doing Ripped in 30 and it's great too!

I use 3 pound weights but a lot of people use 5 pound.

I have Ripped in 30 and like it, also! It's pretty intense, but each day it gets easier.
  • so if I got 2 5lb weights that would work for most of the dvd's?
and is there any that don't need weights?
  • I mostly want it for toning so what ones are good for that and what weights will I need? thanks for all the answers so far :D

Like they said 30 DS or Ripped in 30. You can use 5lb weights. I use 3's because I am weak :)
Also No more trouble zones is a good one. I like Shred it with weights to.

If you're buying weights buy hexagonal ones, not round-edged ones. You'll thank me when you get to L3 of the 30 day shred.
