A great site to check your body fat.

I don't think it's very accurate. I got 17% and I am quite unfit with hardly any muscle...0
-
they have me at 20.5 - i'd love to believe it but...
think they should be taking height and waist measurements too. i quite liked the one on the zone diet website - had me at 24 which seems a bit more likely. thanks for posting though.0 -

Health Central = 22.8 % BF
Scientific Psychic = 32.7% BF
Live Strong = 32.8% BF
I also have an app called 'Fitter' = 22.6% BF
My only conclusion is that both HC and FItter dont ask for height and both say 22ish% BF
However SP & LS both ask for height and both say 32% BF

I didnt do this because I didnt want to sign up etc. Too much hassle..I go to a site that gives you a body fat % based on muscular people, not like Im a super fit person but I have more muscle than most slightly over weight women and I do a lot of strength training.....I may post the link on here if I can remember what it was
* if your muscular the regular body fat websites are not a good choice for you0 -
MFPs BMI calculator - 24.3%
Health Central - 12.6%
Livestrong - 16.1%

Your Results
You have 26.5% body fat.
You have 40.8 Pounds of fat and 113.2 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water).
Very interesting.0 -
26% bodyfat.
53 pounds of fat, 151 pounds of lean (muscle, bone, water)
Ideal: 22%
Now to figure out what that computes to on weight and see if my target weight is appropriate.0 -
I got 18.6% which is quite a bit lower than I thought it would be!
I've just been comparing different sites:
HealthCentral: 18.6%
Livestrong: 23.9%
Bmi-calculator.com: 25.9%
Linear-software.com: 23.9%
Scientificpsychic: 23.7%

I recently had a dexa scan and all of the online calculators are wrong for me by 3-5 percentage points. The closest was the health status website. My dexa scan was consistent with my caliper reading at my gym though.0

26% bodyfat.
53 pounds of fat, 151 pounds of lean (muscle, bone, water)
Ideal: 22%
Now to figure out what that computes to on weight and see if my target weight is appropriate.
Using the Health Status website and the YMCA numbers, my % is 29.44. If it uses the military one it is 36%.
As close as I can figure, if I lose another 20# while continuing to maintain muscle mass I'll be at 22%.0 -

I had a hydrostatic test recently (which is the most accurate way to measure body fat %) and this says 10% less than this site does. i wouldn't trust this site for accuracy...0

I always joke I have a 1:1 ratio of bodyfat - one body and one lot of fat!0

It may not be as accurate as some methods, but its still a damn sight better than my starting reading of 53% bf when I first used a set of Tanita scales.0 -
