So today when I weighed in I realized that I was 2.8lbs away from my ultimate goal weight and got really excited that I was so close. I then started thinking about when I started doing MFP, which was exactly 22 weeks ago from today (about 5 months). I wasn't overweight yet, but wasn't in the best shape either. So on October 2nd, I decided that I was going to eat better and exercise more regularly and I have had some awesome result both on and off the scale. So here is how the number break down

In 22 weeks I have....
Dropped 14.2lbs (CW 122.8)
Dropped 5% in Body fat percentage (currently 19%)
Dropped 12 points off my total cholesterol
Dropped 20 beat per minute off my resting heart rate (currently 60bpm)
Run about 250 miles and done countless hours of yoga
and
Dropped 2 minutes of my mile time (currently running about 8 minute mile pace for 4-6 miles)

I am so close to my final goal of 120lbs and 17-18% body fat and I am really excited to almost reach it, but I think I am so much more excited about the progress that I have made.

Thanks for all the support!!!!

  • Wow,
I am so impressed by your drop in resting heart rate, and dropping 2 minutes from your mile. Congrats. All of the NSV's you have had will make it easier to maintain the goal weight, that you are so close to.
