What are Good Carbs?

Hey! I eat alot of carbs, sometimes I go over on my carb intake by 20 grams...so my question is, what are good carbs, and what are bad carbs? Thanks!

All carbs get converted to glycogen (which you need to fuel muscle) and may be used immediately or stored in your liver & muscle for later use.
Simple carbs (the bad ones) are basically forms of sugar found in soft drinks, candy etc. The reason they're considered bad is your body breaks them down very quickly causing spikes in your blood sugar.
Complex carbs (the good ones) are longer chain molecules with stronger bonds. They take longer to break down and provide you with a more steady blood sugar level They're the type found in whole grains, fruits & vegetables.
