Has anyone done Tough Mudder?

Billed as the toughest event in the world. Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.

I've got friends trying to convince to train for the event in June. Part of me wants to and other part is scared silly.

Has anyone done it and can share their experience?

Just registered to do this for the first time May 18th! It's listed as Minnesota for location but it's really in Western Wisconsin! Going to be CraZy and will need to do some serious training!

Do the couch to 5k program with Starting Strength, 5x5, or New Rules lifting program

Never done it but signed up for the Nor Cal Tahoe event on September 22/23rd. I do bootcamp, and we are starting specialist tough mudder training stating this week.

I haen't done it either. I've done plenty of 5K mud runs and really want to step it up to do Tough Mudder!

I've never done it, but just signed up for it in Tahoe, in Sept. I'm scared to death!

@ Myndi I'm also doing the Tahoe one in September and scared as well. I plan on volunteering for the Socal race in July to get some idea what I'm getting myself into...

You are! I am fairly convinced that I'm going to die. haha! i HATE to run!
