someone on the facebook page mentioned the bar code reader - does anyone know where i can get it from and whether its any good?

    If you have the mobile App, it comes with them. When you go to choose a food, there's a little symbol next to the search bar which activates the scanner.

    Are you specifically talking about the MFP scanner? Or just a scanner in general? MFP app comes with one, if that is what you are asking.

    If you have the app, then I reccomend you watch the tutorial. It explains the barcode reader very well.

    It uses your smart phone's camera to scan the bar code. If you have an iPhone or Android, you can use it.

    If you have MFP on an I-phone ,which i do,,you can scan the bar code ,I love it ,so easy to use and makes it easy to plan meals,I use it in the grocery store as well to see exactly whats in the food,I dont buy processed food very often ,It also scans veggies and fruit bar codes..
