Why do they make these???

You should get a lingerie bag. It is a zippable bag you can get for a dollar (or several for a dollar) at the dollar store.
If your pads aren't getting dirty or moist, maybe you are meant to remove them when you wash, so they don't get ruined, and replace them once they get gross? I don't know.
Most undies aren't made for washing machines and dryers. They will last better if you hand wash them.0 -
I saw those too and kinda wondered what the purpose was. The only reason I could think of was to hide a certain area should the wearer get really chilled and well...ummm...you know....:blushing:
This exactly! I have a couple with pads and I guess it makes me feel less self conscious if I'm not out there to the world, lol. I don't have a problem with the pads moving around0 -
Pads? As in padded bras, to make boobs look bigger/fuller? Huh, I've never seen sports bras with pads. Gonna keep an eye on this thread and see what comes up.
I would not say padded to make you look bigger. Padded like it is a squarish thing that goes in the cup. I usually get mine at T.J. Maxx
My favorites are the compression bras & I usually get them Champions at Target when they are on sale. I like the spandex for quick drying, and the compression one have a good elastic band that hold my girls and my HRM strap in place!0 -
Yeah those pads are to make them bigger! lol and you may want to get a high impact bra so they don't bounce. I recently discovered the world of all the many sports bras ... soooo many for different types of sports.0

Um....are those not for NURSING? Are you looking the right section? lol.0

I've decided that I'm done with cheap sports bras forever... the girls are too important to skimp on! The cheap bras fall apart faster and chaff on long runs... no good!! And padded sports bras? Clearly the manufacturer doesn't think you'll be working too hard with those on!
I love, love, love my high impact Under-Armour sports bras. I can run a marathon with no rubbing, chaffing, soreness, and they seem to last (I had one fall apart due to a material defect, sent it back to UA and they replaced it no charge, no questions asked).0 -
I buy sport bras packaged in two or three at Sam's Club.0

I HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM!!!! WHY DO THEY MAKE THESE??? I need sports bras with the light padding because I don't want certain parts of my boobs showing if you know what i mean. And every time I wash them, the pads slip out, and I have to waste minutes of my time just getting them back in the right place. Did you end up stitching yours in?? I have about 4 bras like this and it seems so popular but I don't understand why...I can't imagine wearing a bra or sports bra without light padding (and not the push-up kind, just normal padding)....it's driving me crazy!! And the ones with the padding stitched in are not in the design that I like...it's so frustrating!0

Yeah I bought a padded sports bra awhile back thinking" this is something different" Big mistake as I was excersizng one of the pads moved over and I looked like i had a deformed chest. Not cool!! Damn those things lol -Never Again.0

I have a few padded sports bras, I always thought the pads where for...you know....nippy days? Lol!
If your busty and need super support, the best thing I ever did for my ladies was buying an Enell Bra. These babies are not going anywhere anymore I'm a d cup and when I've got my enell on I feel flat as a man.0 -
I just buy my sports bras stretchy and smaller to hold me in I guess I don't have to worry about it as I useally do my excersise at home..and when I did go to the gym there were never men in there when I went and Thats all I think the ladies worry about..those guys and their testostrone imagination:devil:0

lol at the end part but seriously, my sports bra has removable padding... i don't care because it keeps my everything secured tbh. nobody is going to notice your breasts at the gym... i hope. i just picked it up with practicality in mind and it happens to do the job.0
