Best brand of heart rate monitor?

Any suggestions? I'm on a budget so I'd prefer to spend under $100. What has worked for you? I'd like to get an accurate count of daily calories since I've heard MFP inflates the count.

    Polar FT7 is in the $70 range, Polar FT40 sould be around $100. I have had two Polar HRM's and could not be happier. My first one was a F55 and it died due to water damage when it was around 6 years old and I changed the battery and didn't get it sealed. My new FT80 is awesome, and they made the battery change eaiser to do yourself.
