New to MFP and looking for support!

Hey all! I am new to MyFitnessPal and am looking for support and motivation. I have close to 100 pounds to lose and have tried before. I am recovering from an injury, so i am starting slow in the exercise area but am eating very clean to make up for my lack of mobility.

I am hoping to find others on here with similar goals who can motivate me as well as me motivate them!!!

  • Hi! I am new to MFP too and also looking for support! My goal is to lose right at about 100 lbs as well. Nice to meet you and good luck with your journey! I just purchased Zumba for the wii and plan to start that tonight for my exercise. I have heard so many good things about it so I'm hoping that will help me to reach my goal! =)

    Hey I'm relativly new too, I have never posted until today. I have been recording on my ipod for over a month now and love it! I too have about a 100 to lose.... I started slow have lost about 15 so far. I started exercising by walking inside the mall, I have a large local mall I strap the kids into the stroller and walk fast... I have started in running a couple of flights of stairs at the mall this past week. But Injured my foot last night we will see how it goes tomorrow morning. My motivation is strong, my mind is clear, this is the time to do it. I feel much better then I did a month ago. Add me as friend if you want I would love to give n get motivation.

    Thanks to both of you for responding. I was leery to post but figure we all need the motivation!!! Let's definitely add each other and give n get the motivation we all need! Good luck on your journeys!!!
