Back in high school at age 18, I weighed 118 pounds at a 5'4 height.

Now, 6 years later at age 24, I weigh 162 pounds at a 5'5 height. Too much fast food (VERY unhealthy diet), not nearly enough exercise (none, to be exact) :embarassed:

I'm getting married next April 27th and have finally told myself, 'It's time. It's time to lose the weight and keep it off.'

Yes, I'm doing this so that I can feel and look good in a wedding dress, but I'm also doing this for my long-term self. My mom is 55 and works out every day. She looks great. I'm only 24 and, quite frankly, look terrible next to her.

I want to lose 27 pounds and keep it off.

So, it's time.

Just wanted to introduce myself and perhaps get some friends

    Hey,
    I started out at 5'5 1/2" and 166lbs (similar to you!) :)
    I'm down to 147 since Jan 1st!

And we have the same goal weight of 135! Look for my add!
And congrats on your engagement (beautiful ring!)
