Running in addition to the 30DS

My muscles are SO sore (and I'm only on Day 2 of the Shred). I don't want to mess up my running routine, though, so I'm tempted to still run tomorrow.

Too much? Should I wait until the soreness goes away or just go for it?

Personally i would push through it. Just make sure to stretch before and after.

A run at an easy pace might be what you need to loosen things up!

I am interested in this. I plan to start up 30DS with running again after I get through Insanity.

LOL I'm with you hon! I'm doing the shred and even just sitting down hurts but I don't want to give up my treadmill time. I suggest continuing but maybe just tone it down until your body adjusts more so you don't hurt yourself.

Your sister in pain- and hopefully progress!

Depends on how sore you are - if you're moaning and groaning because it hurts so bad to go up or down steps, or to sit or stand up, you might need to take another day off. If it's just "standard" sore muscles, the run might help loosen you up, like the others said. Honestly, the worst muscle soreness I ever had was after my very first day of 30DS - I hadn't worked out other than walking for years. The only dumbbells I had were my old 5lbers, so I used those and worked hard through the whole 20 minutes. I could barely move without groaning for three days! I hope you're not that sore!
