To the night shifters out there...

I've been working overnights, at least on the weekends, for the last 8 years. For the last 5, I've been working Sunday through Thursday nights 1115pm-715am. I'm fine with logging from when I wake up until I sleep (which isn't consistant :/) during the week, but what to do on days I am up for extended periods of time? For instance, I slept overnight last night and got up at 9 this morning. I wasn't able to get in a nap tonight and have 230 calories left. Do I /still/ start over counting at the usual time? Or do I only have those 230 calories to last me until tomorrow afternoon when I usually go to sleep?

i log midnight to midnight. period. otherwise, there's too much rationalizing involved. if I'm over, i'm over. If i'm under, I'm under. there are days I"m under because I'm getting ready to go in and sleep all day.. there's days I'm over cause I'm coming off my midnights and stay up 30 + hours. It all evens out in the wash.
