Best exercise???

Hi,

I'm 5ft2, and weight about 8st 5lbs, I'm looking to lose about half a stone!

I go to the gym a couple of times a week, and normally do 20-30mins jogging/power walking on the treadmill, about 15mins on the stepper, a few mins on the Power Plate and about 15-20mins on the rowing machine. I also try and do a Legs, Bums and Tums class each week.

I'm paranoid now that my legs are looking chunky and that I'm starting to look bulky in general :(

Are there any exercises that I should be doing that are good for burning fat as opposed to building muscle???

Any advice would be fab!!

    The best way to burn fat and not gain muscle is to lift heavy weights while eating at a calorie defect. After a month of this I've lost 3cm off my hips and 1cm off my thighs.

    No expert, but I suggest interval training and plyometrics.

    I agree- and agree with strength training.
