"Lifting" with a bum wrist?

I put lifting in quotes because I'm thinking more of using machines than free weights.
I have really bad tendonitis in my dominant wrist. It's really hard to grip anything while it's flaring (and due to a klutzy incident Saturday, it's flaring). So I was wondering what people thought about which upper body exercises would be easy enough for me to try to do. I was thinking the butterfly machine, as I never grip the handles anyway. And of course I'll do lower body, I've been doing that! I can do a limited number of wimpy pushups (butt up in the air, knees down, totally wimpy!) on my fist. As long as I don't need to bend the wrist joint or grip tightly I'm relatively okay.

Just asking for some insight! Thanks in advance!

If I were u I would Rest the wrist until thepain is better then attempt to strengthen the wrist with wrist exercises but stay away from straining it for awhile with other workouts but yeah that sux

Thanx! Been doing physical therapy exercises (I've been here before! lol!), but man are they boring!

Any one else have any ideas for me? I'm not in lots of pain or anything, just a little achy and stiff as all get out. Doing my PT will help, probably by the end of the week!
