Hello All, my name is Leanne and I am hoping from using this website I can lose weight.

My story is as follows:

Before I got pregnant in 2009 I was at the weight of between 80 to 85 KGs, I wasn't skinny but I was happy with my size most of the time lol. I got Pregnant at the end of 2009 and had my baby girl in 2010. In my pregnancy I put on so much weight and just before giving birth I was at a weight of also 125 KG's. OMG I was hugh. I must admit I didnt look after myself in pregnancy and just ate what I craved for. BIG MISTAKE,

Now I have decided that its time I need to lose the weight, not just for me but for my family also. I want to feel more healthier and be more healthier. My sister introduced me to this site and I am hopeful that this will help me through my attempt to lose the weight.

Just before starting my attempt to lose weight I some how lost almost 1 1/2 stone. From 102 KGs to 93KGs. I then went on the scales and it told me i went up to 94.7 grrrr. I hate the scales lol.

So I can say my start weight on signing up to here is 94.7 KGs.

I have just invested money in buying myself a Treadmill and I have been on there since 15 Feb. However, with constant exercising I am finding that I am still not losing the weight, I do sessions on between 35 minutes to 60 minutes on an average but is it normal not to see any results up to now?

    Hi Leanne and welcome.

Sounds like your doing right in the exercise dept.

Maybe look deeper at your food intake and portion size and try some different variations to see what works for you.

First congrats on getting started, that can be the hardest part. Second the scale isnt always the best key to success, sure we all love to see those numbers drop, but what is that really telling us. What u need to do is take some pics, and measurements, this is where u will really find your results. Muscle weighs more than fat, and that can sometimes make the weightloss slow, sob try doing this to see how u r progressing. Also how r u feeling, r upyour cloths fitting better, how about your endurance, again this is something the scale cant tell us. Finally r u eating enough, if your under eating your body wont react right, and u can actually gain weight, so u may need to check into that.

youve made the right choice of coming here, there is so much support and motivation here, and if u come here everyday u will succed, feel free to add me as well.
