I put away the groceries, and KNOW I put the package of Egg Beaters (single serve cups) in the fridge. But when I opened the freezer this morning, I saw them on the shelf in the freezer! Oh no! I think my hubby put them in there.

I checked the package for the warning "Do not freeze" but didn't see anything. Are they are still okay to eat (once they thaw back out)?

Yes. As long as they were fresh when frozen, they will be fine when thawed.
  • Yes their web site says you can freeze them and i have in the past. they are fine when thawed.

    18. Can I freeze Egg Beaters?

The product can be frozen if unopened. Once the product has been opened, it must be used within seven days. Do not freeze part of an opened package. Also, once the product has been thawed, do not refreeze. Egg Beaters Original can be purchased both in frozen and refrigerated form

phew! Thank you! I checked the webstie, but didn't see the FAQ section.

Relieved that food did not get wasted, it's way too expensive.

    Thanks again!
