Ok. So I have PCOS and have been told I need to find lower carb options for snacks. I'm great with raw veggies and stuff but what about when you're rushing or need something on hand for later in the day?

Do you carry snacks in your purse/car/desk? What do you snack on all day????

Help.

My family and friends always laugh at me because I'm never without at least one protein bar or other snack with me. I work full time and I'm also a full time student, so I just carry them around either in my purse or my book bag. Nuts, hard boiled eggs, Atkins or other low carb protein/ meal bars would be good to take with you. You could even pack a small lunch box with some cheese and tuna salad or something too.

thanks! I'm trying really hard and it's good to have some input.
I always seem to want that crunchy, salty snack and don't want the fat in pork rinds. So it's hard to come up with ideas.
  • My normal go to is any sort of fruit (good for when you are craving something 'sweet'), cut up veggies and a serving of hummus (my personal favorite!), or low/non-fat greek yogurt. Also, as others have said, nuts are a great snack too (just be careful of the serving size, because those suckers are so good and it is easy to keep eating and not be able to stop at just 1 serving!).
