In memory of Davy Jones (Motivation and Support!)

I'm a songwriter. As such, I often write my own songs. But every once in a while, I'll take a song and write a parody of it. The reason this is in the Motivation and Support forum instead of Chit Chat is because of the inspiration behind it. This song is a thanks to all the people who have posted pics of their weight loss and continue to inspire people to lose weight on a daily basis. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
To the tune of "I'm a Believer" by the Monkees.
I thought thin was only true in fairy tales
Once you're fat, there is no way to lose
Fat was out to kill me
That's the way it seemed
Couldn't get thin in my wildest dreams
Then I saw your pics
Now I'm a believer
There's not a twitch
Of doubt in my mind
Now thanks to you
I'm a believer
I've got the fever
To keep on trying
I thought thin was more or less an diet thing
But seems I lost nothing the more I trained
What's the use in trying?
All you feel is pain
When I needed weight loss, I got gain
Then I saw your pics
Now I'm a believer
There's not a twitch
Of doubt in my mind
Now thanks to you
I'm a believer
I've got the fever
To keep on trying
To you readers, I posted a status on my feed the other day, and I'm going to share it with you. This journey (and my recent NSVs) reminds me of the movie "Bandslam". It's a great movie (in my opinion) that you should watch some time. In the movie, the main characters were trying to come up with a band name. Then came the answer. "I Can't Go On, I Will Go On."
Great band name! I apply that to my journey, when I feel like I just want to quit because I can't go on, I remind myself that I WILL go on and complete my journey. I hope you do the same, for you have the love and support you need here, even when you don't feel it.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far!
