A lot to lose.

Hello, I am new to myfitnesspal and have a lot to lose. I have lost and gained several times. This time I want it to be permanent. I have logged in almost a week and recorded food for that many days and have been under the calorie limit each time. There appears to be no weight loss yet. It will appear - I am sure. Best of luck to every one!!

I also am new, and have plenty of weight to get off. This site has already encouraged me. Never, never give up. Weight goes on so easy and fast, but harder than ever to lose.0

It is frustrating but you need to eat the number of calories just below your BMR level as calculated by the programme. If you drop your calorie intake too low your body will go into starvation mode and weight loss will be extremely slow. So if you haven't hit your calorie target go and find an apple or a yoghurt and top up till you have hit your calorie target.
