I'm looking to join a gym for the summer! Is anyone from the area and can recommend the ones with the best group fitness classes? I live in Gurnee.

    Hi,
    I don't know about specific gyms in Lake County, but work in Evanston at the Y. There are usually YMCA's in most areas, in fact I know there is a great one in Waukegan. You might just want to google Y's in your area and see whats available. Most Y's have sliding fee scales and scholarships available so it is almost always affordable. Good luck!
