Shrimp and brussels sprout "white" pizza is our favorite homemade pizza yet. :) With some fresh mozzarella and a thinly spread white sauce made from a little warmed cream cheese mixed with almond milk and garlic til creamy.

My favorite is fresh basil leaves, feta cheese, and sliced tomatoes, with green peppers and onions. Yum!

I've made a few pizzas since starting MFP. I think the most important part is the crust! Last time I used a Betty Crocker crust where you just add water and eggs or somethingn like that. It was pretty good and lower in calories than the other premade crusts. I load on the peppers and some onions, normally use chicken. I made a buffalo chicken pizza using a lower calorie BBQ sauce instead of pizza sauce and it was amazing!

Found this recently and DEF plan to try it sometime... otherwise, last week I just bought whole wheat crust and made my own with organic pizza sauce, light cheese and all the veggies you want or maybe turkey pepperoni if you gotta have pepperoni! I also use a LOT of garlic... love love love garlicy pizza! ;)

Make a whole wheat crust, and use olive oil instead of vegtable. A favorite of mine. BBQ suace instead of pizza, chicken, onion, turkey bacon. Another favorite. No pizza sauce but smashed roasted garlic instead, Basil, cheese then tomatoes on top. So very good.

I have made it with the cauliflower crust....really good!! Just make sure you make a thin crust because the thicker it is, it is not very good.

    Enjoy

Use La Tortilla Factory tortillas as your crust (crisp it in the oven a little) 100 calories each and then use fat free ricotta cheese ( I know, sounds gross) as your cheese. I mixed the ricotta with garlic powder and a little salt and pepper. I topped mine with tomato and basil. The next time I added 1 tablespoon of pesto to the ricotta and it was amazing.

    I LOVE making homemade pizza!

My kids always ask for Canadian bacon and pineapple.

I love mine with onion, peppers, mushrooms and sausage. Yum!

Man, I haven't made homemade pizza in too long. Maybe we'll have it Friday night for my dad's birthday dinner.

I used to make my own pizza's last year, except for the pizza base... I used to have Quorn Sausage or Chicken Breast, Onions, Peppers, Cheddar Cheese and Mushrooms.

The only problem with the pizza base was that it was over 450kcal and 70 carbs lol. Quite bad to be honest, but not as bad as pre-made pizza's. I always enjoyed a Goodfella's Pepperoni Pizza or a Ristorante Pepperoni-Salami Pizza. Each with a whopping 1004kcal and 873kcal, respectively. I used to have one a week and sometimes with fries and onion rings.

I haven't touched a pizza for over a month now and I haven't had any urge's to eat one even though there is one sitting in the freezer lol.

Like someone has suggested, use tortilla wraps, cook it a little to crisp it up a bit. I would add peppers, mushrooms, onions, chicken breast, passata, and whatever cheese is low in fat and calories. I'm not an expert on cheeses lol. I like cheese, but it's not something I could indulge in like a lot of people.
