This article discussed two studies on nutrition, one during weight loss.
When I was losing weight, I swapped my protein and carb percentages, thinking that the higher percentage of protein would help me not feel hungry. I used a diet of 800 to 1k net cals/day so I hoped that the increased protein level would help with the hunger pangs. I don't now what effect it had but I was hungry 5 times in the 7 months that it took to lose 95 pounds.
In this study, changing the carb and protein percentages resulted in - "There were no differences in results from the four different diet groups."
